Summary[edit]

Description
English: This photo was taken a few minutes prior to the total solar eclipse visible in Bozeman, Montana on February 26, 1979. Image is looking east toward the Bozeman Pass, showing the changing light as the sun approached totality. The day was cold and cloudy. Photo is a scan from a Kodacolor print originally shot with an Olympus OM-1 film SLR camera with a 75-150mm zoom lens with no other filters. Location was Fort Ellis Road, approximately 5-10 miles east of Bozeman.
