Notes
  • Significance: Built as a one of the first Washington apartment buildings for luxury living, the structure was designed to complement a surrounding Beaux-Arts neighborhood. The composition of three principal elevations acts as a major pivotal point for an important residential boulevard and accents two street intersections. Its six units, with quarters for more than forty servants, were once occupied by some of the Capital's most distinguished personalities.
  • Survey number: HABS DC-265
  • Building/structure dates: 1917 Initial Construction
