Русский: Как известно, название "Перекопская Татария" (Малая, Европейская, Крымская) было условным и использовалось для отличия европейской части государства от азиатской (Gorshenina, Svetlana. L'invention de l'Asie centrale: histoire du concept de la Tartarie à l'Eurasie. — Droz, 2014. — 702 p. — ISBN 9782600017886.). Перекопской (Перекоп — польско-литовская калька слова Qırım — ров) Татарией (Tartaria Przecopelis) обозначены территории под непосредственным управлением крымского хана, а Татарией (Tartaria) ногайские орды, зависимые от крымского хана с начала 16 в. по 1774 год, а Кубанские ногаи (малые) оставались под вассалитетом Крыма вплоть до 1783 года, когда были включены в состав России (БРЭ, Крымское ханство)
