English: The present volume consists of the following works:
  1. A preface dated 10 March 2466 BE (1924 CE), written by Damrong Rachanuphap (1862–1943 CE), prince of Siam, son of King Mongkut.
  2. Phongsawadan Yuan ("Yuan Chronicle"), written by a Siamese nobleman, Chaophraya Thiphakorawong (Kham Bunnak) (1813–1870 CE), whom this chronicle refers to as Chaokhun Phuchuai Krommatha ("His Excellency the Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs"). The chronicle was written on the basis of the replies given by Vietnamese persons referred to as "Ong Pet Klueng [and] Ong Pet Chat, comrades of Ong Chai Sue" as the main source. These Vietnamese persons were interrogated about the history of Vietnam and gave the replies in Vietnamese, and King Rama I had their replies translated into Thai on the 3rd day of the waxing moon of the 9th month of the Year of the Ox, 1155 LE (1793 CE). Though, the year of creation of the chronicle itself is not known.
  3. Prawat Phra Nabi Mahamat ("Biography of Prophet Muhammad"), being a record of a reply given by an Islamic scholar called "To Antani", who was interrogated about the life of Islamic prophet Muhammad on Tuesday, the 2nd day of the waxing moon of the 2nd month of the Year of the Ox, 1227 LE (1765 CE). The person conducting the interrogation and the person recording the reply are not known.
Note: "LE" refers to Lesser Era; "BE", Buddhist Era; and "CE", Common Era.

๓. ประวัติพระนาบีมหะหมัด ไม่ทราบผู้จัดทำ เป็นบันทึกคำให้การของแขกชื่อ "โต๊ะอันตนี" ซึ่งผู้จัดทำเชิญมาสอบถามเมื่อวันอังคาร ขึ้น ๒ ค่ำ เดือนยี่ ปีฉลู จ.ศ. ๑๒๒๗
