Русский: Изображение представляет как выглядит из космоса крупный город погожим мартовским днём при наблюдении его в невидимых человеческому глазу диапазонах электромагнитного излучения. Чтобы сделать их доступными для восприятия применены условные цвета: оттенки синего цвета изображает интенсивность излучения земной поверхности в ближнем инфракрасном диапазоне, зелёного – в среднем инфракрасном, а красного – в тепловом диапазоне.
Космоснимок был зарегистрирован 15 марта 1985 года спутником Landsat 5. Город, изображённый на нём, – Воронеж. Можно видеть, что дорожное покрытие улиц, а также крыши зданий и сооружений уже прекрасно прогреваются ласковым мартовским солнышком. Всё это разогрелось в его лучах и интенсивно переизлучает тепло обратно в космос. Даже воздух тёплыми волнами растекается по округе. Однако в тоже время за пределами города на полях ещё лежит толстый слой снега, а на Воронежском водохранилище, разделяющем город на две части, – прочная льдина. Лёд и снег плохо нагреваются солнцем и возвращают назад почти всю упавшую на них солнечную энергию. Река Дон (течёт вдоль левоого края снимка) до встречи с городом также ещё скрыта льдом, но принимая теплые канализационные стоки Воронежа, освобождается от оковEnglish: The image represents as the large city looks from space. To make them available to perception pseudo-colors are applied: shades of blue color represent intensity of radiation in the near infrared range, green – in intermediate infrared, and red – in the thermal range. The satellite image was registered on March 15, 1985 by the Landsat 5 satellite. The city represented on it – Voronezh. It is possible to see that streets and buildings well heat up by means of the March sun. Warm waves of air spreads around. However on fields outside the city the thick snow layer, and on the Voronezh reservoir – a strong ice floe still lies. Ice and snow badly heat up the sun and return back almost all solar energy which fell to them. The river Don until will overtake the city also still is hidden by ice, but accepting warm sewer drains of Voronezh, is freed from fetters |
