Українська: Ряд коловерток Bdelloida налічує близько 300 видів. Бделлоіді коловертки дуже поширені в прісноводних водоймах і мохах, зустрічаються і у вологому грунті. Харчуються в основному бактеріями і одноклітинними водоростями. При пересиханні водойм здатні тривалий час перебуває в стані ангідробіозу, що дозволяє переживати посуху. Передбачається, що завдяки здатності включати в свою ДНК гени з'їдених організмів бделлоідні коловертки мільйони років обходяться без двостатевого розмноження.
