Description
Ελληνικά: Κατά τη διάρκεια του Α' Παγκοσμίου Πολέμου οι στρατιώτες απασχολούνταν στα ορύγματα με "War Trench Art", δηλαδή με την "Τέχνη των Ορυγμάτων".

Κατά τη διαδικασία αυτή έπαιρναν τα υπολείμματα από βληθέντα πυρομαχικά και τα τροποποιούσαν με επιτόπια μέσα, μέσα στα ορύγματα για να φτιάξουν κάτι χρήσιμο με απλά μέσα κατασκευής (π.χ. με καλάι, με ζέσταμα μετάλλου και αλλαγή σχήματος). Συνήθως αυτά τα πράγματα που κατασκεύαζαν οι στρατιώτες στέλλονταν ως δώρα στους οικείους τους.

Στις φωτογραφίες βλέπουμε:

1. Καπνοδοχείο (tabbaco case) κατασκευασμένο από φύλλο τεμαχίων κάλυκα πυροβόλου. 2. Σταχτοδοχείο (ashtray) από πυροβόλο 2 λιβρών και στο εσωτερικό έχει κολλημένο αγγλικό νόμισμα της εποχής. 3. Μολυβοθήκη (pencil holder) από τροποποιημένο κάλυκα φωτοβολίδας από μπρούντζο, ο οποίος φέρει έμβλημα στρατιωτικού σχηματισμού, πιθανόν αγγλικού. 4. Μολυβοθήκη (pencil holder) από κάλυκα γαλλικού αντιαρματικού πυροβόλου 37 χιλιοστών, τύπου Hotchkiss. 5. Σέσουλα από τροποποιημένο κάλυκα αγγλικού πυροβόλου 2 λιβρών με ημερομηνία 1916 6. Κουμπαρά από ομοίωμα βλήμματος από αλουμίνιο με χαραγμένο το έμβλημα του Ερυθρού Σταυρού και τις ημερομηνίες ενάρξεως 1914 και τέλος του Α' Παγκοσμίου Πολέμου 1918. Χρησιμοποιείτω για έρανο κατά τη διάρκεια του Α' Παγκοσμίου Πολέμου 7. Υποδοχή γλάστρας κατασκευασμένη από τροποποιημένη βάση κάλυκα πυροβόλου 4,5 εκατοστών, πιθανότατα αγγλικού πυροβόλου, με ημερομηνία 1916

8. Kάλυκα γαλλικού αντιαρματικού πυροβόλου 37 χιλιοστών, τύπου Hotchkiss.
