English: Dalaguete is municipality (town) located in the province of Cebu, the Philippines. It is politically divided into 33 barangays or administrative villages.
Tagalog: Ang Dalaguete ay isang bayan o munisipalidad na matatagpuan sa lalawigan ng Cebu, Gitnang Kabisayaan (Rehiyon VII), Pilipinas. Ito ay nahahati sa 33 mga barangay.

Barangay Lanao[edit]

English: Barangay Lanao is a rugged hilly place located about 3.5 kilometers from the mainline of Cawayan in Dalaguete. It was officialy established in May 1972. It is a thinly populated settlement with about 1,200 inhabitants, covering an area of roughly 200 square kilometers.

Barangay Lanao is composed of 13 sitos (rural wards or hamlets): Proper Lanao, where the main chapel of St. Isidore is located and tennis court; Magay where the barangay hall and Lanao Elementary School are located; Biasong; Cambarco; Dao; Banahaw; Salay; Binalabag which the product mostly vegetable for the market; Magsinulo; Buli; Ka-igduyan; Karejoyan; and Poo.

The main source of living is farming which corn and vegetable, coconut, and livestock raising.
