  • Married a Prof. G. Freytag.[1]
  • Was the second wife of Prof. Gustav Willibald Freytag (16.08.1876, Heddernheim – 19.03.1961), son of w:Gustav Freytag, and died on February 4, 1913. Freytag married again in 1929.[2]
  • Made several illustrations in a 1911 book, where "Miss Emma Kissling" was described as a "young artist", so may not have been married at that point.[3]
  • Was a student of Lorenz Müller (1868 - 1953) at Munich.[4]
  • Had works as early as 1905.[5]. A 1920 book re-used an old work, mentioning she was deceased.[6]
