Strange disconnected extra gallery[edit]

Hi, I don't think this new "Gallery of animals in their habitats" (November 2023) is really an improvement. The subsections are a bit awkward in my view. Moreover, an "habitat", in ecology, refers to the "array of resources, physical and biotic factors that are present in an area, such as to support the survival and reproduction of a particular species." More than just a "generous crop" or a "natural background", as seems to be the rule currently with the selected batch. Ping @Charlesjsharp, as a main contributor of animal pictures, what do you think about your own FPs having been moved there? -- Basile Morin (talk) 03:38, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • Thanks for sharing your thought. The goal was probably not to irritate, but in that case, it's a failure.
I have restored my own FPs to their original locations. Doing maintenance is something, but undoing what has been done to create something else is not the same as just enriching an existing pool -- Basile Morin (talk) 09:08, 28 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
