Ratha Jatra is one of the longest running festivals of Odisha running for over a month. The festival starts from Akshaya Trutiya and ends after Bahuda Jatra. This festival dates back to more than 1000 years.

This year, the Odia Wikimedians from Puri are documenting the process of building the ratha (chariot). They are also uploading every phase of the building process on Wikimedia Commons.
