  •  Comment File:URSUS C451.jpg shows that this model can have a retractable roof, which is an additional information, but the nominated image nicely displays this tractor in action. By the way, what is this action? Farming works? A race? So a  Request it would be useful to add a description in English or in another language. Thanks in advance, --Myrabella (talk) 23:14, 8 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
    •  Info. Starting from the end. a) description in English added; b) If I remember correctly, at that particular moment it wasn't doing anything useful, the teenager there was just having fun driving aroung but in the long run it was supposed to help in pulling smaller vehicles out of here; c) it's a fact I can't really argue with, nevertheless, as far as I know my compatriots, I wouldn't be surprised to find out that those roofs were user-installed and had nothing to do with what the factory offered. Wolf (talk) 00:12, 9 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Oppose I finally oppose, firstly because the nominated image doesn't show the factory provided retractable soft-top, which is one of the characteristics of this model (another image in Commons do), secondly because it represents the military type of this model (if I understand the context correctly, thanks again for the added description)—but it seems that the main use of this tractor was civilian, in agriculture (as far as I understand this page, for example). --Myrabella (talk) 15:53, 11 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
    •  Comment As I said, I've got no way to argue about the roof, that's fair. But I don't think there was any "civilian" or "military" model as far as any potential differences are concerned. There was simply no place for any military modifications (like what, a machine gun? ) because the idea behind it was simplicity. I believe you mean it because of the fact that the picture was taken at a show that's military by name. But not only military vehicles appear there, you will also find police cars (like this one) or purely civilian ones (like the motorbike on the left) if they are old enough of for some reason interesting. By the way, how about learning some Polish? I'm sure you'd like it (though the level of diffculty would probably get you crazy). Wolf (talk) 16:08, 11 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
      • It is not only because of the name of the event, but also on account of the military khaki color of the vehicle, and owing to what I read in the :en:article about Ursus Factory: "In 1930, the Ursus factory fell on hard times due to the world financial crisis and was nationalized under the Państwowe Zakłady Inżynieryjne (National Engineering Works, PZInż), the Polish manufacturer of arms and vehicles. It then began producing military tractors, tanks and other heavy machinery for troops." So, as this company used to produce military tractors (at least for a period), I think it's important to have an image without any possible ambiguity regarding this aspect. Side comment: About Polish, yes, you guess it right, I'd like to learn it (and not only Polish!). If only I had a thousand lives to live... --Myrabella (talk) 18:08, 11 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
        • So an MVReview, perhaps? And just as comments. 1) This is the military tractor produced by Usrsus for PZInż. 2) A joke: Radio Moscow reports: Less than an hour ago Chinese troops attacked the Soviet Union. Three Chinese armored divisions attacked a tractor peacefully attending agricultural work. The tractor fired back, repelled the attack and flew off to the east to provide air cover for courageous Soviet soldiers. Wolf (talk) 18:18, 11 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Support Photo very good shows a tractor. It is a valuable picture, because it presents a tractor in the "natural conditions". Dirt, while driving and not on the road. I assure you that in times when the tractor was produced the roof was "exclusivity" rarely used. Associated with the military are symbolic. Albertus teolog (talk) 12:14, 12 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
