For bulk uploads of similar images, the description is often a template - or should be. (Here is an example.) Adding descriptions in different languages then happens in the template, and not in the files. Please add the option to use a plain description field, just as in Commonist. (When I have to use this tool, because Commonist has one of its many hickups, I have to remove the useless "English" tag around the template manually.)
It would actually make sense to include automatic template creation in the uploader. When many files share the same description, it should be saved once. What if the description added to a hundred files needs to be corrected or updated? --Watchduck (quack) 21:50, 8 October 2021 (UTC)
