File:Solar-calculator.jpg[edit]

  • Nomination A basic, Sharp-brand solar calculator. By User:Evan-Amos --Andrew J.Kurbiko 16:21, 25 December 2020 (UTC)
  • Promotion
  •  Support Good quality. --Granada 09:17, 26 December 2020 (UTC)
  •  Oppose Insufficient quality: Not sharp enough for a studio shot, rim top left blown, noisy areas. --Palauenc05 22:59, 26 December 2020 (UTC)
  •  Support Seems good to me, in part considering the actual size of the calculator vs. the size of the photo. I think it's good enough at full size but also that it's not necessarily reasonable to peer at it at full size and find that there's a little dust on it or something and therefore reject it. Nothing looks blown to me, and photographing white on white is difficult, but I feel like this is successful (or successful enough). -- Ikan Kekek 08:21, 27 December 2020 (UTC)
  •  Support per Ikan Kekek --Sebring12Hrs (talk) 12:07, 27 December 2020 (UTC).
  •  Support There is no disturbing noise. Such LCD have this grainy structures, the other noise are structures in the plastic surfaces and the printing. Sharpness could be enhanced by focus stacking combined with f/8 to avoid some diffraction blur, but this should not generally be demanded and often has other disadvantages. --Smial 02:50, 28 December 2020 (UTC)
