- Oppose I like the reflections but this lot of ropes and wires looks nervous and disturbing to me. --Basotxerri (talk) 05:36, 24 July 2020 (UTC)
- Support I like the graphical quality of this image, the colors and the reflections. At first, I thought the wires and ropes were disturbing. However, they make you look twice. They prompt you to figure out what's going on in this picture (in addition to the reflections, which have a similar effect). The lines formed by the wires and ropes also correspond nicely with the lines of the clinker planking of the boat. In general, I like images where something can be discovered. Where you have to look twice. This one is a good example of that concept. – Now, close your eyes for a moment and imagine this photo without the graphical effect of the ropes and wires. To me, that would be a banal and ordinary documentary-style image of a boat in Sweden. I like this one better. --Frank Schulenburg (talk) 15:05, 24 July 2020 (UTC)
- Wow, thanks! Me, I like the almost-illusion of the boat being suspended in the air among the clouds by the ropes (they are all ropes, no wires). But I agree with Frank, without the ropes, the shot would be banal and I wouldn't have nominated it here. --Cart (talk) 15:36, 24 July 2020 (UTC)
- Support I agree with Frank, this would be boring if it wasn't for the ropes. Cmao20 (talk) 17:16, 24 July 2020 (UTC)
- Oppose Busy. Distracting lines, ordinary boat, bad light -- Basile Morin (talk) 00:25, 25 July 2020 (UTC)

- Oppose I can't see anything special in this photo, perhaps because I grew up in a fishing village near a pier where I saw boats all the time and my eyesight is no longer sensitive, sorry... --Wilfredor (talk) 14:24, 28 July 2020 (UTC)
- We all have different ways of relating to things. I grew up on boats, and I love trying to depict even simple ones in an good way. It isn't hard to make a nice photo of an extraordinary boat, the real art is to make an interesting photo of a common one. --Cart (talk) 14:34, 28 July 2020 (UTC)
