OpposeThe pictures definitely have wow, good job, but I don't see any reasons for a set here, it's again a randomed group of photographs. The don't complement each other to a whole. Furthermore the crop is similar, but not identical and some colors are too close to each other. Poco a poco (talk) 10:07, 14 December 2021 (UTC)- Support I like the multi-part representation of a subject in this form to highlight differences. Each one is appealing and atmospheric. Also, in this case, it's a better solution than a FPC set nomination. -- Radomianin (talk) 10:39, 14 December 2021 (UTC)
- Yes, I confirm this is not a set. There's only one picture nominated here. It is a montage like the four seasons we find sometimes in postcards or posters. The idea of a set was suggested by Ikan Kekek last February on QIC, but I was not sure a set would match the criterias. Hence a different solution to display this diversity of colors gathered in just one picture. Thank you very much. -- Basile Morin (talk) 11:38, 14 December 2021 (UTC)
- Sorry, I stroke through the oppose. I thought that putting all together was a way to propose the set, which apparently isn't the case. Sorry, I was too bold. You got my Support Poco a poco (talk) 15:46, 14 December 2021 (UTC)

- Support Unusual and very nice. That said, I wonder if we should revise our set criteria. The fundamental idea of a FP set is that the images must be "closely bound" in some way. And yet there is nothing more closely bound than assembling a collage out of images. This leads to the strange situation where this nomination would qualify under the rules for a single image but not a set, even though it is strictly more useful as the latter (a relatively simple layout like this can be done using wiki formatting). We currently have allow "works notable in their own right, which the original author clearly intended to be viewed as a set", but maybe we should also allow "images intended by their author to be assembled into a collage and viewed as a single image". -- King of ♥ ♦ ♣ ♠ 16:18, 14 December 2021 (UTC)
- Regardless of whatever rules we have for whether a set nomination would be permitted, it would still fail. Each image in a set has to be FP worthy and I don't actually think any of the images here would pass. Compare also File:Paisley Abbey New Gargoyles.jpg and File:Epilobium hirsutum - Seed head - Triptych.jpg. A montage is a perfectly reasonable way of collecting images where individually they might be meh but together their differences and combination is more than the sum of the parts. I totally dread if this sort of image collection was a set...."During lock down, I took the same image out of my bedroom window for 365 days and I hereby nominate the set of every day, and overnight expect to become the photographer with the most featured pictures on Commons....". We've had a bit too many set nominations recently imo. -- Colin (talk) 18:01, 14 December 2021 (UTC)
