The Buffy Hummingbird (Leucippus fallax) is a species of hummingbird in the Trochilidae family. It is found in Colombia, French Guiana, and Venezuela. Its natural habitats are subtropical or tropical dry forests, subtropical or tropical mangrove forests, and subtropical or tropical dry shrubland.
My camera has a 35x zoom, however, this photo was taken very close. I spent several hours camouflaged in the foliage. The bird began to watch me watching but did not understand and leave me to take that photo. I live in a third world country, previously had a $ 34 camera, however, I gathered for 9 months to buy this camera, that way to upload good quality photos to commons, however, is not enough. Buy this camera living in a third world country like Venezuela gathering means 9 months 70% of salary, if this image is not elected, I will dedicate to draw instead of taking pictures, it is simply impossible to buy a DSLR camera for a person who lives here. There should be some program to help people like me who live and love the pictures with free licenses.--The Photographer (talk) 03:01, 1 July 2012 (UTC)[reply]
