- MORE INFO: I've seen other animations of SARS-CoV-2, but they tend to depict it as a rotating solid spheroid with rigid protrusions. This is animated to the scale of individual atoms. You can see the little monstrosity's glycoproteins writhing and twisting. And it's based on data taken from a dozen papers in peer-reviewed journals (commented out for length) - in fact, it's created by the same people who made the featured image File:Coronavirus. SARS-CoV-2.png.
