規範[edit]

  • 投票週期為10天，之後的投票將無效。
  • 歡迎匿名使用者提名並參與討論。
  • 提名者可以隨時撤回提名。
  • 每個註冊使用者都可以投票，匿名使用者的票將不統計。
  • 如果提名5天后沒有支援票，該提名將以不通過提前結束。
  • 如果提名5天后有至少10個支援票，且沒有反對票，該提名將以通過提前結束。

注意調校你的熒光屏[edit]

光暗度[edit]

在討論影象的光暗度的時候，投票者有必要知道他們的螢幕顯示有否被適當地調整。不同的螢幕顯示，它們顯示陰影細節的能力亦大有不同。旁邊為一幅畫了四個暗灰色的圓圈的圖片。如果您能辨明其中三個（甚至四個）圈子，那表示你的的螢幕可以正確地顯示陰影細節。如果你只能夠看到三個以下的圈子，你可能需要調整你的螢幕以及/或者電腦顯示設定。一些顯示裝置可能無法被調整至觀察陰影細節的最理想度數，故此請在投票的時候考慮這點。如果可行的話，也可以考慮把它打印出來。

色彩度[edit]

在伽瑪調整的螢幕顯示上從幾尺之外觀看右圖，圖中四個不同顏色的圈子會自然混入背景之中。如果他們完全跟背景混合，你則須要調校你的伽瑪設定（在電腦的輸出設定上，而不在於螢幕顯示），直到它們能彼此融合。調校的過程也許會非常困難，然而輕微的偏差並不是致命傷。未能更正的個人電腦顯示通常會顯示出比背景深色的圈子。請注意，在液晶顯示（無論膝上電腦或者平面螢幕）上觀看圖片，你的觀看角度有很大可能影響螢幕上的影象質素。如有需要，請點選影象以獲得更多技術資訊。

As far as I understood it, it would be right to assume that the breed is a mix o both, Ankole and Watusi, so I updated it. Sanga is a wider term that includes both and would be more generic. Poco a poco (talk) 21:12, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Yann: I uploaded a new version with a bit more of crop on both sides. Regarding the breed of cow, please, give me more time to investigate it, I was told they were all Watusi cows.   • To be honest, I had expected improvements in the original picture, not a different one, but as they are pretty similar I have no problem with that. The noise level is good in the current version and I also prefer the POV/angle in this version. The halo is overcorrected so that you can see a grey halo around the statue but in the inner side with no saturation. I also agree with the lighting comments. I prefered the lighting of the original version and the WB too. I'd weak support if you fix the halo and brigthen it a bit Poco a poco (talk) 19:52, 2 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

She is an actress appearing for the film Chaperon, in which she plays one of the leading roles, at a film festival. Actors and actresses use their whole body and their body-language as tools, they are not just "pretty faces". I don't see why a photo like this could not be in an infobox. On the other hand, it is not necessary for an FP to be the lead photo in an article. Most wikis use rather unflattering passport-style photos for that. Artistic photos of actors and singers can be used in articles, like this Valued image of Cohen (at least until he died and the en-wiki article went passport again).
I've taken the liberty to update the info on the file page; most people (and search Bots!) don't read or follow the categories the photo is in, so it is good to have as much info as possible in the description slot. --Cart (talk) 12:26, 28 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

She is probably doing her best for the cameraman in that photo, but for me, I had hoped that wiki portraits of women had evolved beyond that 50's pin-up-gesture with a woman holding her hands over/on her head, while giving the man behind the lens a sultry look. That gesture might be ok for actresses like Marilyn Monroe or Dita Von Teese who have made 'sexy' their trademark, but not otherwise.   • Interesting shot. My comment is mainly about the restoration, which seems only part done. Blending the large semicircle pattern seems to make it into the source of light -- is it, though? There's still a strip of that pattern along the top-left, some splotches throughout, and maybe light smudging from the cleanup.  Oppose There is no absolut truth, it is up to each reviewer who interprets the image. Here the lady seems to fall forwards because the distance is shorter at the top, in the direction she's looking at. Awkward lead room and opposite effect to the intended one, if there was.
