How should the two sub-categories "School buses by brand" and "School buses by manufacturer" be differentiated? For the most part, both categories cover the same thing and essentially duplicate one another. --SteveCof00 (talk) 04:35, 24 October 2010 (UTC)
- Good point, I think. Unless someone can present a good explanation as to why we need separate categories for "brand" and "manufacturer", they should be merged. I note that Category:School buses by brand and Category:School buses by manufacturer are both subcategories of Category:Buses by manufacturer. - Although it seems to already have been done, I think "by manufacturer" would be the best categorization, as even outside of North America, buses are commonly distinguished by body manufacturer as well as by chassis manufacturer. The latter instance seems to be well-separated, so perhaps we should follow the same pattern for the body manufacturer. SteveCof00 (talk) 09:34, 8 November 2010 (UTC)
