Category:Simple SVG text logos[edit]

Consistent with similar categories, this category should be renamed Category:SVG simple text logos. One example is that of Category:SVG diagrams and Category:SVG simplified diagrams, but it can be found in all the correctly named subcategories of Category:SVG files. (Here's the technical reason: grammatically, "SVG" is an adjective modifying the subject "simple text logos". with "SVG"being the modifier "SVG" being the modifier. ) Senator2029 03:54, 15 November 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Simple?[edit]

When is an image considered as simple? And when isn't it? – GeMet [talk] 18:18, 9 August 2019 (UTC) @大诺史: – GeMet [talk] 03:03, 15 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]

@GeMet: I would say that it simple logos are typically text with/without simple shapes (such as circles, squares), but it also depends on the TOO of the source country. Sarang might be able to give you a more detailed answer. (Talk/留言/토론/Discussion) 14:32, 15 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
It is not so easy to explain: I can see it; when it can be drawn with a text editor, and will not need more than some hundred bytes would call it "simple". On the other hand, when complicated Bézier curves are necessary it is not simple. Because text logos need SVG_path_text they are seldom really simple!
Another point of view is just the shown image, independent how difficult it will be to draw it in SVG. Maybe that both aspects are mixed in this category, with much more of the second POV. -- sarang사랑 14:48, 15 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
