Taxonomic note: Myristica beddomei vs. M. dactyloides

Note that Myristica beddomei has often been mistaken for Myristica dactyloides which is endemic to Sri Lanka. The filenames of many images in this category has (wrongly) used the latter species, although all the images are from India. M. beddomei is endemic to the Western Ghats in India. For more details refer to Wikipedia pages of either species. This category should contain images of the Indian/Western Ghats species only. Shankar Raman (talk) 12:08, 15 February 2023 (UTC)
