Doesn't this place need a little cleanup? So many pics, many very similar, some with questionable quality and/or encyclopedic value. I pity old browser users... Wyglif 12:35, 17 April 2007 (UTC)

We have > 5 GB of photos from Metalmania 2007, in category for now there is about half of files chosen to upload ...

Please show me at least 5 pictures with low quality / low encyclopedic value!

I don't want to argue with you, but as requested: 1, 2, 3, 4 and above all 5. I can't see who's playing. Many of them are, as I said before, very similar, like this and this. I'm simply wondering if it necessary, because I know how much trouble it causes on older computers. It seems for now that every single photo taken at Metalmania is uploaded a bit thoughtlessly on commons. I appeal for a little cleanup, that's all ;) Wyglif 16:46, 18 April 2007 (UTC)

200 photos is a little bit less then 5 GB! It's category grouping all photos uploaded to commons, simple create gallery with best photos and link it on Wikipedias and leave category 'as is'. --WarX 19:40, 18 April 2007 (UTC)

I completely disagree. These are great, valuable photos, of the kind that is really hard to obtain under a satisfactory license. We cannot "delete some, because there are too many" - quite the opposite, I think it's great there are some similar - though not identical - images; it makes the resource richer and more professional. :) // tsca [re] 19:53, 18 April 2007 (UTC)
