Overloaded, nonsensical category[edit]

The state of this overloaded category is a shame for all friends of this magnificent city. The defenders of this present state do not understand the basic principles of the categories in the Commons. Szilas (talk) 09:34, 4 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • @Szilas: How many files have you dissminated off this category and into how many of its subcats? If your answer is more than 1% of what me or Tm or any other of «the defenders of this present state», then maybe your post above is slightly less than misguided nonsense. -- Tuválkin 11:16, 4 July 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I started working on it, but colleague @Tm: has reverted my edits, saying on his talk page: "Alas, where it was taken?" and prevented me from going on. By the way, the biggest part of the problem is created by his millions of mistaken overcategorizations. His talk page is full of complaints because of this diligent activity. This category contained little over 5000 images in December 2020, now it contains 4814. If you both like the category this way, I can not prevent it, I can only feel sorry. Given what you tried to do, a few months agon, in Commons:Administrators'_noticeboard/Archive_83#Categorization_activity_of_User:Tm, given what i and Tuválkin said then and given that i´ve already possibly uploaded more than 50 000 images of Lisbon (and around hald of the 4814 in this category are of other users, i.e 5% of my uploads are in this category), your continuation of this subject is somehing that i will ignore, as i have better things to do, like categorizing and clean almost 400 images related with Lisbon (and nominate some to speedy deletion).
