What is this category intended to cover?

It currently has the following subcategories:

  • .NET (a software framework for developing all kinds of Microsoft Windows software, not specifically related to the Internet)
  • Markup languages (systems for annotating text; not used for programming and not related specifically to the Internet)
  • OOHDM (a method for developing web-based application software; thus related specifically to the World Wide Web rather than the Internet in general)

  • Stylesheets (an expression of presentation of content, separated from the content itself; not used for programming and not specifically related to the Internet)
