- @Jacquesverlaeken: I think such comments are just info pollution in talk pages. We already know it, when we see category:Engravings. Plus, there is {{Categorise}}--Estopedist1 (talk) 08:01, 22 February 2020 (UTC)
- Sorry, there was no intent to create a talk but just to record a situation and inform about a cleaning work that I intend to do - hopefully to the benefit of - and in line with Wikimedia policy. I have made similar messages since years, without that this was considered pollution. Is there an alternative to record such kind of info? I thought I had to sign all comments (for me it is not the creation of a discussion). By the way, I do not see many people trying to reduce the amount of polluting files in root categories (see Drawings!)! Tagging is good, but what next?
