Copyright and other issues

The uploader and author wronte in my talk page:

What's the issue with Dust Racing 2D screenshot images? I'm the author of the game and the author of the screenshots and there shouldn't be any copyright issues. _{Juzzlin 17:16, 22 August 2013‎}

Some of these images were not categorized and I come across them while trying to reduce the amount of such images. I routinely marked them as lacking permssion because there are a huge number of screenshots illegally uploaded to the Commons, which must be “swiftly” deleted.

After the above contact from Juzzlin, I created this category where I moved the mentioned lost screenshots and also others which were overcategorized (those categories I mostly moved up into this new one).

I also asked Fastily to restore the images already deleted.

• Concerning copyright, an COM:OTRS ticket should be sent by Juzzlin covering all relevant media uploaded so far, we all should wait on COM:AGF grounds; meanwhile the media items marked with missing license will display otrs pending

• Concerning image format, I’m sure all JPGs in this set should be replkaced with PNGs

• Concerning scope, and regarless of the “ideal” amount of images to adequately illustrate the game or otherwise be useful within this broader subject, there are some images that are almost identical. Is these relevant (suble versioning diffs) or a mistake?

• Concerning categories, there maybe a few that are appliable only to one or some of the screenshots, while this category itself could have its parents improved.

• With regards to OTRS, permission should be submitted in a timely manner, otherwise these files should be re-deleted. Regards, FASTILY 05:48, 23 August 2013 (UTC)
