Move from "Double-deck buses" to "Double-decker buses"[edit]

Given the number of files in this category, I probably should have requested to use {{Move}} before doing it. If the current title (consistent with on of the parent categories) is problematic, I can move it back. -- User:Docu at 14:28, 19 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

If I'm honest, I don't see much point in the move. "Double-deck" isn't wrong, "deck" and "decker" can be used in various contexts and both are right. In the case of this cat, deck sounds a bit snappier but it really doesn't matter, even if having well over 900 changes on my watchlist when I came back was a bit of a surprise! The question it, what do we now do with Category:Single-deck buses in the United Kingdom, move the 862 images in that as well? Arriva436talk/contribs 17:54, 20 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Personally, I wouldn't mind moving the other category as well. BTW this rename was requested by Ingolfson. -- User:Docu at 22:24, 20 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
OK, not sure how it was "aligning with the parent cat" though. The parent cat is Category:Buses in the United Kingdom, no mention of "-er". If you want to move the single-decks then feel free. I'm easy either way. Arriva436talk/contribs 23:00, 20 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
One thing I would say though, it that I think deleting the old "Category:Double-deck buses in the United Kingdom" might be better, so avoid a constant job of moving images that get left in there. Arriva436talk/contribs 23:02, 20 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
