Is there any information as to why these disclaimers are everywhere in the dinosaur halls? I understand that many of the presented ideas *are* in fact uncertain and unverifiable (given our current evidence), but this is the case for *all* sciences (in particular, I have in mind the Rose center's many claims about astrophysics which are still being debated). In addition, there were several disclaimers, such as the third one listed in this category, which seem utterly pointless to me, and seem to be encouraging doubt as opposed to instilling a confidence in our current evidence and understandings.
