Category talk:Cities in Luxembourg
Apparently, officially there are only 12 cities in Luxembourg. fr:Liste des villes du Luxembourg or en:List of cities in Luxembourg. Last months, I've actually been throwing all towns I encountered in this category, mislead by what I found in it before.
As the term "city" is clearly defined for Luxembourg, it should only contain those 12 cities.
But what with all the other towns ? A category like category:Cities and villages in Luxembourg, to contain everything ? (many other countries have this). Or category:Towns in Luxembourg or another alternative? (actually, the cities and villages category was the original one, but it was sort of "vandalized" by a bot move [1], that didn't take accuracy on the term into account)
And should it contain ALL towns (so also villages not being an independent municipality), or should it be a category category:Municipalities in Luxembourg. Or maybe this last should be still another category.
Personally, I would go for
- "Cities and villages in Luxembourg" to contain everything : cities, the municipalities and large villages, the smaller villages, etc... This way, you have a category where you can find all towns, villages, cities in Luxembourg, without knowing what their size or official titles are.
- "Cities in Luxembourg" to contain just the 12 official cities.
