English: Zoltán Szabó (Budapest, June 5, 1912 – Vannes [France], August 19, 1984) was Hungarian writer, sociographer, publicist and editor, one of the powerful classics of the sociographic literature in Hungary. He founded in 1939, the movement "spiritual [nationale] defense" against the Nazi influence in Hungary. From 1949 until his death he lived and worked in exile in England and France.
Français : Zoltán Szabó, (né à Budapest, le 5 juin 1912 et mort à Vannes [France], le 19 août 1984) fut écrivain, sociographe, publiciste et rédacteur hongrois, l'un des classiques à fort impact de la sociographie littéraire en Hongrie. Il fonda en 1939, le mouvement « défense [nationale] spirituelle » contre l'influence nazie en Hongrie. A partir de l’an 1949 jusqu'à sa mort, il vécut et travailla en exil en Angleterre et en France.
Magyar: Szabó Zoltán, (Budapest, 1912. június 5. – Vannes [Franciaoprazág], 1984. augusztus 19.) Baumgarten-díjas író, falukutató, publicista, szerkesztő, a magyar szociográfiai irodalom egyik nagyhatású klasszikusa. Ő alapította 1939-ben a „szellemi honvédelem” mozgalmat a nemzetiszocialista befolyás ellen Magyarországon. 1949-től haláláig angliai, illetve franciaországi emigrációban élt és dolgozott.
