Female practitioner of yoga. In Indian texts, the term includes women dedicated to meditative and spiritual yogic practices. Yogini may also refer to Tantrikas (female tantra practitioners) and female Nath yogis of Hinduism. In modern usage, the term is not limited to Hinduism.
