English: Yell is one of the North Isles of Shetland, Scotland. In the 2001 census it had a usually resident population of 957. It is the second largest island in Shetland after the Mainland and is the third most populous in the archipelago (fifteenth out of the islands in Scotland), after the Mainland and Whalsay.

Nederlands: Yell is een eiland dat deel uit maakt van de Shetlandeilanden en is na Mainland het grootste eiland van de eilandengroep. Het ligt ten noordoosten van Mainland en ten zuidwesten van het meest noordelijk gelegen eiland Unst. Na Mainland en Whalsay is dit het dichtstbevolkte eiland van de archipel.
