English: Witwer-Jones was Allentown's predominant sporting goods store for most of the 20th Century.

It originated in 1919, when the store opened as "The Sporting Goods Store" at 524 Hamilton Street, and L U Blose owned it. In 1920, it was purchased by the Neubling Sporting Goods company of Reading, and it was renamed as "Neubling Sporting Goods". This was at 949 Hamilton Street.

It became Witwer-Jones in January, 1928 until it closed. It moved to 923-925 Hamilton in November 1945. The Witwer-Jones partnership dissolved in 1950, but the name remained. Zeke Witwer retired and sold the store to Charles Bott in 1962 who ran it until his death in 1990. The last Owner, Stanley Stauffer retired in July 1992 and the store was subsequently closed.
