English: The new West Ham (code WH) bus garage is in Stephenson Street, Canning Town, London Borough of Newham. It opened in 2008, and has the same name and code as a garage that was closed in 1992 and demolished, sited about a kilometer to the east. The new garage was built to replace both Stratford (SD) and Waterden Road (WA) garages, demolished to make way for the London Olympic Park. It consists of a depot and offices covered by four curved roofs, aligned north to south. Stephenson Street runs along the east side of the site, offering small vehicle access to an office frontage on the north side. The south side is the opening to the depot area, which fronts onto a large bus parking area. The main bus access is at the south west corner of that parking area, rather than Stephenson Street. Public views of the bus park and south facade are offered by a road bridge crossing the Docklands Light Railway, which runs north-south at ground level, on the other side of Stephenson Street.
