Waterous Engine Works Co., Ltd was a builder of fire fighting equipment founded 1886 in Brantford, Canada.

A subsidiary was established in 1906 in St. Paul, Minn. started with horse-drawn steam fire engines. They built a forward-control, two-engined (one for propelling and one for driving the pump) fire engine that is thought the first gasoline fire engine in the USA. A 4 cylinder fire engine was built at least until 1923. While the Canadian company was dissolved, the US company is still active, but does no longer offer complete vehicles.
