English: The WEGA is a special part of the Austrian police in Austria's capitol, Vienna. It is responsible for tasks and operations with higher risk-level than normal police services.
Deutsch: Die WEGA ist eine Sondereinheit der österreichischen Polizei in der österreichischen Hauptstadt Wien. Sie ist zuständig für Operationen mit höherem Gefährdungsgrad als normale Polizeieinsätze (z.B. Überwältigung von gefährlichen Straftätern, Einsatz bei gewalttätigen Demonstrationen und bei Ausschreitungen im Rahmen von Veranstaltungen)
