The volumes in this series each contain an illustrated section about the county, followed by a long list of short biographies (each with a photographic portrait) of men of the county who were alive at the time of publication (plus a few who had recently died). Each volume has an index to the illustrations of buildings and views of the county, and an index to the biographies.

Note: all photographs in this category, which were uploaded by Storye Book, were taken with a handheld camera. The century-old pages in these volumes will not tolerate compression of their spines in the scanner, or the brittle pages being flattened too forcefully. In this copy of the book as photographed by Storye book, the last few pages, including the indexes, are damaged, with some content missing.
