English: This category is for media directly related to the American Continental Army's winter encampment during the 1777-1778 Philadelphia Campaign of the American Revolutionary War while British forces occupied Philadelphia. The camp was named after the neighboring town of Valley Forge, Pennsylvania. Today the camp cover parts of both Montgomery County and Chester County, Pennsylvania. Much, but not all, of the site of the encampment is preserved as Valley Forge National Historical Park. The term "Valley Forge" can refer to the national park, the town, the historic encampment, or the area more generally; see Valley Forge.
