Deutsch: Die United States Exploring Expedition, auch US Ex.Ex., Ex. Ex. oder Wilkes Expedition genannt, war eine US-amerikanische Expedition in den Pazifik, die als Erkundungs- und Kartierungsfahrt diente.

English: The United States Exploring Expedition was an exploring and surveying expedition of the Pacific Ocean and surrounding lands conducted by the United States from 1838 to 1842. It is sometimes called the "U.S. Ex. Ex." for short, or the "Wilkes Expedition" in honor of its next appointed commanding officer, United States Navy Lieutenant Charles Wilkes.

Под руководством лейтенанта ВМС Чарльза Уилкса она за 4 года обогнула земной шар, произвела тщательную навигационную разведку малоизученных областей Тихого океана, впервые запечатлела 1500-километровый участок антарктического побережья, собрала огромное количество научных экспонатов и артефактов и составила несколько сот географических карт.
