This series consists of manuscript survey sheets covering the immediate coastal waters of the United States and its territories. These unique, large-scale charts include original ocean bottom surveys and resurveys. They indicate the configuration of the coastline and include numerous water depth soundings, notes on bottom composition (rock, sand, mud), and the location of hazards to navigation.
