English: Media related to U.S. Route 30 in Utah (US 30), a former planned routing of a section of U.S. Numbered Highway in Utah, United States, that would have connected US 30 in Idaho with US 30 in Wyoming, via Salt Lake City.

Among the possible planned routes for U.S. Route 30 between Burley, Idaho and Granger, Wyoming included a southern option that ran through Salt Lake City and a northern option that ran through Pocatello, Idaho. Instead of selecting one of the two routes, the initial decision was for a split route option, with the Pocatello route being designated as U.S. Route 30 North (US 30N) and the Salt Lake City route being modified to run through Ogden (instead further south though Salt Lake City) and being designated as U.S. Route 30 South (US 30S). Notwithstanding, the official US 30S designation for the southern route, state highway maps issued by the State Road Commission of Utah (predecessor of the Utah Department of Transportation) had the route labeled as US 30 until 1930. Eventually, US 32N became the main route (US 30) and US 30S became an alternate route before finally being decommissioned in the 1970s.
