English: On 3 September 2011, Peter Bouckaert, HRW emergencies director, discovered secret documents while examining the abandoned office of Musa Kusa, Gaddafi's former intelligence chief, in Tripoli. Among the files were documents confirming that both the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the United Kingdom's Secret Intelligence Service (MI6) collaborated closely with Libya's secret police.
