English: The Treasury of Selinus (more phoentically Selinous) or "Sicilian Selinuntians" (in Pausanias) is described as being after that of Cyrene. Neglecting VII and VIII, the position is IX. Its stone came from around Selinous. Pausanius mentions that the city was destroyed (409 BC), so the treasury was relic in his time. Most photographs show it obscured wholly or partly by the only tree on the terrace at the time, but it can be discerned in aerial photographs.
