English: Visible from afar, real signal of the city, the octagonal tower is builded at its peak. It was built in the year 15-16 BC, on a tower of the ancient Gallic town. A long L-shaped ramp arrived at the top of basement and lead to the walkway with a staircase giving access to the top of the "Big Tower". In ancient times it had an extra level.
Español: Visible desde lejos, verdadero señal de la ciudad, la torre octogonal se alumno en su apogeo. Fue construida en el año 15-16 a. J.C., en un recorrido de una torre de la antigua ciudad Galia. Una larga rampa en forma de L llegaba a la parte superior del basamento y dirigiero à un pasillo con una escalera dando acceso a la parte superior de la Torre Mayor. Français : Visible de loin, véritable signal de la ville, la tour octogonale s' élève en son point culminant. Elle a été construite, entre l'an 15 et l'an 16 avant J.C., sur une tour de l'ancienne agglomération gauloise. Une longue rampe en forme de L arrivait au haut du soubassement et conduisait par le chemin de ronde à un escalier donnant accès au sommet de la «grande tour». Dans l'antiquité elle possédait un niveau supplémentaire.
