English: Building in the 2000 block of St. Charles Avenue, New Orleans, at uptown river corner of Josephine Street. Structure uses portions of a restaurant structure in the Eiffel Tower in Paris that was dismantled with renovations of the landmark in 1981, and purchased and reconstructed on this location in New Orleans, opening in 1986. Over the decades it has served as a restaurant, bar, dance hall, and event venue, with names including "Tour Eiffel", "The Red Room", "EIFFEL" (with the first "f" backwards), and "The Eiffel Society".
