English: In 1904, New York Times' office was moved to a new skyscraper (known as the New York Times Tower or simply Times Tower) on 42nd Street at Longacre Square. And, the area was renamed to "Times Square" on April 8, 1904. The original Times Square subway station was opened on October 27, 1904.
