For the remake of the movie The Great Gatsby several Duesenbergs were used, most prominently a yellow Torpedo Phaeton. All of them appear as replicas. Jay Gatsby's Model J in fact is a 1983 replica with a Ford V-8 engine. Two such cars were bought by the studio for the movie, and transformed to fit a Gordon Buehrig (a.k.a. La Grande) designed Torpedo Phaeton of which Weymann of America built one in 1934.
