English: The Anchorage located at 1555 Connecticut Avenue, NW in the Dupont Circle neighborhood of Washington, D.C. The building was constructed in 1924 and designed by local architect Jules Henri de Sibour. Notable past tenants include Robert Kennedy, Tallulah Bankhead, Sam Rayburn, Charles Lindbergh, Ernest Cuneo, and Arthur Goldberg. The Anchorage is a contributing property to the Dupont Circle Historic District.
