English: Tamar was a steel full-rigged ship built in 1889 by Napier, Shanks & Bell, Dumbarton (Yard No 45) for Devitt & Moore, London. 1900 sold to T.A. Shute, Liverpool and 1922 sold to Dutch owners. Broken up in Rotterdam 1923.
Her dimensions were: length × beam × depth = 286.7 × 42.4 × 24 ft (87.3 × 12.9 × 7.3 m) and 2115 GRT and 2048 NRT. [1][2]
